Responsibilities
-Collaborate with technical product managers, developers, and technical architects to collect requirements, and create, review, revise, and maintain technical documentation.
-Create and manage procedural and technical documentation for technical and non-technical users
-Participate in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and deliverables
-Publish and maintain templates for written documentation produced by others, ensuring a consistent "look and feel"
-Maintain a library of application documentation, cataloging it for internal and/or external us
Qualification and Key Skills
-Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Technical Writing
-3+ years of experience as a technical writer, documenting technologies with researching and writing documentation for hashtag
#cloud platforms or B2B hashtag
#SaaS applications.
-Experience with public Cloud technologies such as Cloud Networking technologies, Compute technologies
-Experience with HTML or markdown.
-Strong technical aptitude - need not know everything, but must be willing to learn, grow, and take ownership
-Experience with computer networking technologies, such as DNS, routers, firewalls and firewall rules including iptables, Virtual Private Networks, cloud-based services, and load balancers and proxies is a big plus.
-Certification from AWS, Azure, GCP or any public cloud provider is desired by not mandatory
