Technical Support Engineer (KSA JOBS)

Position: Technical Support Engineer – Building Envelope

Experience: Minimum 3-4 years in relevant Roofing/Wall Insulated Panel or Standing Seam roofing field.

Location: Riyadh

Position Overview: The Technical Engineer will play a crucial role in providing technical support and expertise for our standing seam roof and metal wall sandwich panel products. This role involves collaborating with clients, sales teams, and internal departments to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience with metal building systems, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support: Provide expert technical assistance and advice to clients, sales teams, and internal staff regarding the design, installation, and performance of standing seam roofs and metal wall sandwich panels.
• Product Specifications: Develop and review technical documentation, including product specifications, installation manuals, and technical datasheets. Ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards.
• Design Consultation: Work closely with clients and project teams to understand project requirements and provide technical recommendations for product selection, system design, and installation methods.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve technical issues or challenges related to product performance, installation, or compatibility. Develop solutions and provide guidance to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Training & Support: Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients, contractors, and internal teams on product features, installation techniques, and best practices.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality control teams to ensure that product designs and specifications are accurately translated into manufacturing and installation processes.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor product performance and conduct field inspections as needed to verify compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive products. Provide insights and recommendations for product development and improvement.
• Reporting: Maintain detailed records of technical support activities, project status, and client interactions. Prepare regular reports for management on technical issues, trends, and project progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or a related field) or equivalent technical experience.
• Proven experience in a technical support or engineering role within the metal building envelope industry, particularly with standing seam roofs and metal wall sandwich panels.
• Strong knowledge of metal building systems, including design principles, installation practices, and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide effective technical solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, sales teams, and internal departments.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools. Familiarity with relevant building codes and standards is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to travel for site visits, inspections, and client meetings as needed.
