Your expertise in estimating will ensure that our projects are not only delivered on time but also aligned with our profit goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Planning & Analysis: Support the Pricing Manager and unit staff in assessing job and resource requirements for various projects, ensuring accurate estimates that consider all elements, including drafting, materials, labor, and overhead costs.
• Quotation Drafting: Prepare initial project quotations by coordinating with all relevant stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all proposals.
• Project Management: Effectively manage project timelines to guarantee completion within planned deadlines and budgetary constraints.
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales consultants to understand project requirements and engage with other departments and clients to resolve budgeting issues and secure the best estimates.
• Problem Solving: In the event of discrepancies or emergencies regarding estimates, proactively consult with supervisors in related fields to obtain accurate information.
• Research & Resource Optimization: Utilize online resources to identify services beneficial for project administration and maintain updated lists of raw materials and their prices.
• Cost Reduction: Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality, ensuring the company’s profitability.
• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation related to time, labor, machinery, and materials for accurate estimates.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a wooden factory or joinery setting, with a strong understanding of cost estimation processes.
