Job Description

The Technical Sales Engineer plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical solutions and customer needs within the hardware and building materials industry. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and sales acumen to effectively communicate the value of products to potential clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of engineering principles, along with the ability to engage with customers and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, fostering customer relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction through exceptional service and support.Responsibilities:Identify and engage potential customers to promote hardware and building materials solutions.Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase product features and benefits.Collaborate with the engineering team to develop customized solutions that meet client specifications.Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations to prospective clients.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.Provide ongoing support to clients post-sale to ensure product satisfaction and address any technical inquiries.Participate in trade shows and industry events to network and promote company offerings.Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.Train and mentor junior sales staff on technical aspects of products and sales techniques.Preferred Candidate:Strong technical background in engineering or related fields.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.Experience in the hardware and building materials sector is a plus.Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.Fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
