Job Description

  • Oversees the overall technical aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Develops and implements project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Monitors project progress, identifies potential risks, and develops mitigation plans.
  • Ensures adherence to project budgets and timelines.
  • Coordinates with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of design and construction.
  • Reviews and approves shop drawings, material submittals, and construction documents.
  • Resolves technical issues and provides solutions to challenges.
  • Ensures compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Leads and manages a team of engineers and technicians.
  • Sets clear performance expectations and provides necessary training and development.
  • Fosters a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Implements and maintains quality control procedures.
  • Conducts regular inspections and audits to ensure project quality.
  • Identifies and addresses quality issues promptly.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Prepares and submits required reports and documentation.
  • Ensures proper archiving of project records.
  • Supports the procurement process by providing technical specifications.
  • Reviews and approves material and equipment selections.
  • Ensures timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of +12 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in managing technical teams and complex construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in construction software (AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced in English.
