Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Office Engineer – Mechanical to join our project team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a major Tunnel Construction MEP Fit-Out Project. This role involves the technical management of electrical engineering aspects of the project, from design through to execution, ensuring all technical office activities align with project requirements.
Prepare, review, and update mechanical engineering plans and drawings in accordance with project specifications.
Coordinate the integration of mechanical systems with other engineering disciplines, ensuring cohesive project execution.
Analyze and interpret mechanical plans and specifications to provide technical support and guidance to the construction team.
Manage the submission and approval of all mechanical documentation, including design modifications, calculations, and correspondence.
Conduct feasibility studies and assessments to optimize mechanical designs and systems.
Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
Assist in the resolution of any technical issues that arise during the construction process, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the mechanical engineering field, with substantial exposure to construction projects.
Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools, such as AutoCAD Mechanical, BIM or similar.
Saudi Arabia experience is Essential.
Candidates with short notice period or immediately available will be on priority for selection.
Strong understanding of international mechanical standards and codes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
