Job Description

  • Maintain a comprehensive digital and physical document library including contract drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and RFIs.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely distribution and control of project documents.
  • Review contract documents, specifications, and drawings to identify potential technical issues.
  • Prepare and submit RFIs to clarify discrepancies or ambiguities in design documents.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide technical support to site engineers and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate quantity take-offs for materials and labor.
  • Assist in cost estimation and project budgeting.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Review and approve inspection and test plans.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with design and construction documents.


Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM software (e.g., Revit), and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Codes and Standards (SBC).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
