Technical Design Authority Manager
Job Description
The Senior Technical Design Authority Manager will act as the custodian of architectural integrity for the program, ensuring technical alignment with the program's objectives and guiding the technical teams towards achieving scalable, efficient, and innovative solutions. This role demands exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration across various workstreams and stakeholders to maintain the overall architecture's quality and effectiveness.
Define, own, and maintain the architecture and design principles to ensure the technical integrity of the solution. Develop and communicate the Transformation Architecture Blueprint to all stakeholders. Ensure the solution design aligns with the program's objectives, business goals, and operational needs. Conduct technical reviews to validate conformance with architecture and design principles. Facilitate and enforce architecture governance through consistent updates and reporting mechanisms. Approve high-level design changes to ensure alignment with the established architecture framework. Identify and manage cross-workstream architectural dependencies. Ensure collaboration and alignment across lead architects and technical teams from various implementation workstreams. Make the Transformation Architecture Blueprint accessible and comprehensible to all relevant teams to ensure clarity and consistency. Identify potential architectural risks and develop effective mitigation plans. Monitor and manage risks arising from design and implementation decisions to ensure project continuity and quality. Provide technical guidance and leadership to Cloud Architects, and other technical teams. Drive architectural decisions that enhance scalability, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives. Act as the primary technical authority, ensuring best practices and industry standards are integrated into the solution.

Technical Skills
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and design principles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platform and system integration.
• Well Familiarity with, infrastructure, networking, Security and E2E Service delivery.
• Proven experience in developing and managing large-scale architecture blueprints.
• Experience in architecture governance and managing high-level design reviews.
• Proficient in identifying and mitigating architectural risks during design and implementation.
• Familiarity with reporting and updating stakeholders on architectural progress and challenges.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate complex systems and make sound architectural decisions.
• Proven track record in resolving architectural conflicts and ensuring design integrity.
• Awareness of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in cloud, infrastructure, and system architecture.
• Ability to apply innovative solutions to technical challenges while adhering to business constraints.
• Certifications in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) are highly desirable.
• Awareness of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in cloud, infrastructure, and system architecture.
• Expertise in large-scale telecom systems and application cloudification.
• Experience in delivering large-scale transformation programs for telecom operators is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 20 years of related experience.
• 10+ years of experience in technical architecture roles, with at least 3 years in a lead or authority position for Mega transformation programs.
