Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Tech Support Specialist with strong system administration and networking skills to join the Educational Tech Team of our Client As a Tech Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance to our internal staff and students, resolving technical issues, and ensuring the stability and efficiency of our systems. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and a solid foundation in system and networking administration


Key Responsibilities


· Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software-related issues promptly and effectively.


· Perform system administration tasks, including system configurations, user management, server maintenance, and ensuring system security and performance.


· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to enhance system functionality, performance, and security.


· Configure and manage network devices, firewalls, routers, switches, and other IT infrastructure components.


· Participate in IT projects, upgrades, and migrations, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations.


·  Conduct regular system monitoring and performance tuning to optimize system functionality and ensure maximum uptime.


·  Provide training and guidance to end-users on system usage, best practices, and IT policies.


·  Collaborate with external vendors and partners to resolve complex technical issues and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution.


 Documentation and Reporting:


·       Maintain accurate documentation of systems configurations, procedures, and policies. 


·       Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and security status. 


·       Provide regular updates to the Educational Technology Manager on system-related activities. 


·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand educational technology requirements. 


·       Provide training and guidance to end-users on system usage, best practices, and IT policies. 


·       Foster a collaborative and supportive environment for technology integration in the educational process.
