Role Summary
The assistant will perform a wide variety of tasks related to facilities janitorial services for the office building, as well as being a stand-by chauffer for occasional business transport needs.
Responsibilities Include:
- Use power equipment as well as manual tools to clean office building including offices, toilets, hallways, stairways and windows.
- Maintain supply storage closets in an organized and safe manner.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
- Maintain equipment in a safe and operable condition.
- Printing and binding documents and material as required.
- Pick-up and delivery of passengers, and/or materials in support of the business.
- Prepare vehicle, conduct basic maintenance and ensure cleanliness.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a high school diploma, or vocational diploma
- Minimum of 2 years equivalent experience
- Must have good written and oral English language communications skills
- Safe driving record and hands-on experience transporting passengers.
- Willing to work with minimum supervision.
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience working with teams
- General vehicle maintenance knowledge and experience
- Computer literacy (MS Word & Excel)
