Aqua-Tots Water Safety Instructor (Swimming Coach):
- 48 Hours Per Week
- Fridays is a working day on special occasions
- Shifts assigned based on seasons & customers demand
AT-WSI Position Objective: Work with the general manager, aquatic manager, and aquatic staff on all daily aquatic operations, ensuring company core values, customer satisfaction, and revenue increase.
Customer Service Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome customers as they arrive at the facility.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both prospective and current customers.
- Foster strong relationships with families by learning and remembering their names, as well as their children’s names.
- Address customer concerns with patience, focusing on achieving a mutually beneficial resolution.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the manager promptly and professionally.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service in every interaction, setting a positive example for colleagues.
Aqua-Tots Water Safety Instructor (AT-WSI) Duties
- Embody and promote the Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Core Values.
- Arrive at work at least 15 minutes before the start of each shift, ready to contribute effectively.
- Wear the designated staff uniform, including a staff shirt, at all times when in any Aqua-Tots facility or location.
- Ensure teaching areas are properly prepared before each shift.
- Clean and maintain pool areas before and after every shift to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Adhere to and enforce Aqua-Tots policies regarding water safety and contamination prevention.
- Teach swimming lessons in alignment with the Aqua-Tots curriculum, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Provide parents with clear and knowledgeable responses regarding their child’s progression and the Aqua-Tots curriculum.
- Accurately complete Aqua Cards for each lesson.
- Ensure completed Aqua Cards are stored in the designated location.
- Participate in staff meetings and mandatory in-service training sessions to maintain high standards and continual improvement.
