Job Description

  1. Sustainability Strategy Development:
  • Strategy Formulation: Develop and implement the organization’s sustainability strategy and objectives in alignment with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Goal Setting: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for sustainability and track progress towards achieving sustainability goals.
  1. Environmental Impact Assessment:
  • Impact Analysis: Assess the environmental impact of organizational activities and identify opportunities for reducing resource consumption and waste generation.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on environmental performance, sustainability metrics, and compliance to senior management and stakeholders.
  1. Sustainability Programs and Initiatives:
  • Program Management: Lead and manage sustainability programs, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, and green building practices.
  • Initiative Implementation: Oversee the implementation of sustainability initiatives, ensuring they are integrated into daily operations and projects.
  1. Regulatory Compliance:
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that the organization complies with environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to sustainability and environmental compliance.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaboration: Work with internal departments, including facilities, operations, and procurement, to integrate sustainability practices into their processes.
  • External Communication: Engage with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, community groups, and customers, to promote sustainability efforts and address any concerns.
  1. Training and Education:
  • Employee Training: Develop and deliver training programs and materials to educate employees about sustainability practices and their role in achieving sustainability goals.
  • Awareness Campaigns: Implement awareness campaigns to promote sustainability initiatives and encourage employee participation.
  1. Data Collection and Analysis:
  • Data Management: Collect and analyze data related to environmental performance, resource usage, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Use data insights to drive continuous improvement in sustainability practices and identify areas for enhancement.
  1. Vendor and Supplier Management:
  • Sustainable Sourcing: Work with procurement to establish and manage sustainability criteria for vendors and suppliers.
  • Partnerships: Develop partnerships with external organizations and experts to support and enhance sustainability initiatives.

  • Trend Analysis: Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in sustainability and incorporate them into the organization’s strategy.
