Responsibilities Manage Environmental compliance and drive Resource Conservation initiatives at all three plants through: Managing GLF Environmental Policy commitments. Supporting plant team to drive Resource Conservation (ReCon) performance. Leading best practice implementation in the areas of Environmental Management and ReCon. Coordinating with project team in the planning of new Capital projects Supporting Plant Engineering team with solutions to drive equipment efficiencies. Guiding Production team in efforts aimed at waste minimization and resource conservation. Driving improvement in the areas of Solid Waste Reduction and % recycling. Monitoring and tracking plant Resource usage rates against AOP targets. Seeking opportunity to venture into renewable sources of energy. Involving in the Annual Outlay Planning and Innovation and Growth planning sessions. To implement, sustain and participate in the continual improvement of the OH&S Management System (MS) at area of responsibility in accordance to the legislations, PepsiCo GEHSMS and relevant EHS standards, ensuring proper controls for all hazards and risks associated with all activities/areas are in place and OH&S targets are Qualifications Bachelor/ master’s in engineering or equivalent major. 3-6 Years of experience in SC/ Sustainability or equivalent field. Technical background / skills Ability to identify opportunities and suggest solutions addressing it Technical understanding of all processes within the facility Understanding of applicable rules and regulations related to Environmental Sustainability, preferably of the ISO 14000 Standards Creative and Analytical thinking Ability to implement company policies, programmes and regulatory requirements.
