Job Summary

The Supply Chain Director leads and optimizes supply chain operations within the core-business activities. The position is responsible for developing and implementing robust supply chain strategies to ensure efficient procurement, seamless inventory management, and effective supplier's deliveries processes. The Supply Chain Director collaborates with multiple stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency, achieve cost reductions, and deliver exceptional customer experiences throughout the organization.

Create and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on process improvements, cost savings, and risk mitigation.


Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and timely delivery of goods and services.


Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, managing performance to ensure high-quality products and competitive pricing.


Implement and manage effective inventory control practices, including demand forecasting, stock replenishment, and optimization to balance availability and carrying costs.


Streamline logistics and distribution processes, collaborating with partners to improve transportation efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance delivery timelines.


Continuously assess and enhance supply chain processes using industry best practices, automation, and technology to drive efficiency and reduce waste.


Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions and compliance issues, and develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity.


Ensure procurement activities adhere to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, conducting due diligence and implementing compliance measures.


Define KPIs and metrics to monitor supply chain performance, generate reports, and provide insights to senior management for data-driven decision-making.


Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development, while integrating sustainability practices into operations.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in supply chain management principles, including demand planning, inventory optimization, and logistics operations, to develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives.


Strong leadership and team management abilities to lead cross-functional supply chain teams, delegate responsibilities, and drive operational excellence.


Advanced analytical skills to analyze supply chain data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize supply chain performance and mitigate risks.


Experience in implementing supply chain technologies and systems to streamline processes, enhance visibility, and improve efficiency across the supply chain.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, build strong relationships, and drive alignment towards common supply chain goals and objectives.


ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.




Job Experience

Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
