Objective As a Supply Chain Coordinator Intern, you will gain hands-on experience and valuable insights into the fundamental operations of supply chain management. This internship is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes, including demand planning, logistics, inventory management, and vendor relations. You will work closely with our experienced supply chain team to support various projects and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the coordination and execution of supply chain activities, including logistics and inventory management. Support the development and implementation of supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining accurate records of stock movements. Participate in data analysis and reporting to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Contribute to the development of process improvement initiatives and best practices. Assist in the preparation of documentation, reports, and presentations related to supply chain activities. Support cross-functional teams in various projects and initiatives as needed. Support Logistics in RSD stock movement and ensure correct reporting for import/ dispatch deliveries. Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and RSD records to ensure inventory accuracy.
Educational Background
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's / Diploma degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Skills and Competencies
Saudi National Basic understanding of supply chain principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and willingness to learn supply chain software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners. Attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory records and reporting.
