Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Commodity & Compliance Analyst is essential for supporting the increasingly complex compliance environment within Raytheon's procurement process while also providing thorough commodity analytics. This role ensures thorough compliance at procurement review gates, integrating compliance measures into procurement procedures, and supporting commodity analysis to drive strategic procurement decisions. The Sr. Commodity & Compliance Analyst will maintain an aggregate database on price reasonableness, proactive due diligence (RECON) submissions, and create procurement compositions that inform long-term agreements and commodity priorities, ensuring compliance and integrity of procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Review: Ensure thorough compliance at critical procurement review gates, ensuring compliance is engineered into procurement procedures.
Database Maintenance: Maintain a comprehensive database on price reasonableness and maintain proactive & timely due diligence (RECON) submissions.
Commodity Analytics: Perform detailed commodity analytics to support strategic procurement decisions, including aggregate qualitative & quantitative performance analysis.
Procurement Compositions: Create procurement compositions that inform long-term agreements, commodity priorities, and strategic sourcing decisions.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance compliance, commodity management, and operational efficiency.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, contracts, compliance, and supply chain teams, to ensure alignment and support for compliance activities.
Training and Support: Provide objective training and support to procurement teams (buyers) on compliance requirements, best practices, and commodity analysis.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, law, engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in compliance, supply chain management, procurement, or commodity analysis.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of compliance requirements, regulatory frameworks, and due diligence processes.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with experience in data analysis, commodity analytics, and process improvement.
Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
Detail-oriented: Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and compliance/commodity management software.
Languages: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable
