We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations in our retail fashion warehouse. The Warehouse Supervisor will ensure that all processes related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse safety are executed efficiently. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to maintain a productive, organized, and safe warehouse environment.


Main Responsibility
Supervise all day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
Ensure the efficient flow of goods through the warehouse, from stock receipt to dispatch, in accordance with company standards and timelines.
Coordinate the loading and unloading of delivery trucks, ensuring accurate and timely product handling.
Monitor stock levels and ensure proper inventory management, minimizing discrepancies and maintaining accuracy in the warehouse management system (WMS).
Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in annual stock takes, reporting any variances to the Warehouse Manager.
Ensure damaged or defective items are handled properly and report any quality issues to management.
 Lead, supervise, and train a team of warehouse associates, ensuring they are meeting performance standards and working safely.
 Delegate tasks and set daily priorities to optimize productivity and ensure deadlines are met.
 Address any performance or disciplinary issues in coordination with the Warehouse Manager.
Enforce health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse employees.
Conduct regular safety inspections of the warehouse and equipment, addressing any potential hazards or maintenance issues.
Ensure all staff are trained in and adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
 Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, streamline processes, and reduce costs.
 Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to implement new procedures or technology that can enhance operational efficiency.
 Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend adjustments to improve workflow and productivity.
 Ensure all customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time, maintaining the high-quality standards of the fashion brand.
 Work with the logistics team to ensure the timely dispatch of orders and resolve any shipping or delivery issues.
 Oversee returns processing, ensuring items are properly handled and restocked or flagged for further action.
 Act as the primary point of contact between warehouse staff and upper management, ensuring smooth communication of daily priorities and performance updates.
 Provide regular reports on stock levels, order fulfillment rates, and overall warehouse productivity.
 Liaise with other departments such as logistics, procurement, and customer service to address any cross-functional issues related to warehouse operations.
Communicate regularly with the QHSE and the site facility management team to ensure compliance with all site rules and H&S guidelines including, Safe Working Procedures, data analysis, accident reduction plans, Audit preparation and anything else as required.
Produce reports and Kpi’s where required.



Requirements


  • Strong English proficiency
  • Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a similar role, preferably in a retail or fashion warehouse environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes.
  • Ability to manage and lead a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and experience enforcing safety protocols.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Previous experience in a retail warehouse operation.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment will be beneficial
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
