Role
As Bus Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of people mobility within Trojena.
This role ensures efficient, safe, and timely transportation of contractors across Trojena, aligning with the highest standards of service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bus operations, ensuring schedules, routes, and passenger capacities are adhered to efficiently.
- Monitor and manage service quality, addressing any deviations or issues in real-time
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for bus operations to align with Trojena project requirements.
- Liaise with service providers to ensure compliance with contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and performance standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and meetings with vendors to address challenges and implement improvements.
- Ensure that all bus operations adhere to Trojena's safety, security, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment) teams to conduct regular audits and inspections of third-party bus services.
- Address safety concerns proactively and implement corrective actions as needed
- Review and optimize bus schedules and routes to maximize efficiency and reduce transit times.
- Coordinate with project and site teams to accommodate shifts, peak hours, and special requirements.
- Monitor contractor feedback and address concerns to improve the overall transportation experience.
- Ensure timely communication of schedules, updates, and changes to all stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of bus operations, including schedules, daily sheet for pick up and drop, and incident reports.
- Prepare periodic reports on operational performance, challenges, and vendor compliance for management review.
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving transportation-related emergencies or disruptions.
- Implement contingency plans during operational challenges, such as route diversions or vendor issues.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing transportation or bus operations, preferably in a large-scale project or infrastructure environment.
- Proficiency in route planning tools, transportation software, and reporting systems.
- Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills to manage vendors and stakeholders effectively.
- In-depth understanding of safety regulations and compliance in transportation.
- Ability to handle operational challenges and emergencies with efficiency and composure.
