The primary goal of this role is to ensure efficient planning of academic activities and the optimal delivery of student services.
The Student & Academic Services Supervisor, under the supervision of the School & Education Director, will be responsible for organizing classes, exams, and all training activities, ensuring compliance with the standards set for a Higher Vocational Institute.
In this role, he/she will support students throughout their educational journey by monitoring attendance and providing the support services defined by Istituto Marangoni Riyadh.
1. Academic Planning and Student Attendance Monitoring
In collaboration with the School & Education Director and trainers, organize and plan training activities such as lessons, exams, and workshops, ensuring compliance with TVTC accreditation standards.
Track and monitor student attendance to ensure alignment with program requirements, identifying patterns of low attendance.
Cross-reference attendance records with personal documentation to assess justifications for absences.
2. Academic & Training Support
Collaborate with trainers to address student needs and facilitate adjustments to learning approaches when necessary.
Organize meetings between trainers and students to address concerns, share feedback, and enhance the learning experience.
Guide students through induction processes, including preparing welcome materials, managing registration, and providing ongoing access to onsite and online learning tools.
Support graduation ceremonies and certification processes.
Assist students with their vocational training needs.
3. Administrative Tasks
Handle a variety of administrative responsibilities, including issuing certificates, transcripts, and responding to student and instructor inquiries.
Regularly update institutional documents, training schedules, and student records on the system.
Prepare monthly progress and attendance reports for the School & Education Director.
Manage course structures and data within the attendance and scheduling system.
4. Student Support Services
Act as the first point of contact for students facing challenges, offering immediate support and guidance.
Evaluate situations and escalate cases the School & Education Director when needed to ensure student well-being.
Experience: from 3+ to 5 years of experience in vocational training, academic support, or a similar role. Previous experience in a Higher Training Institute is plus.
Language Skills: Arabic Native. Proficiency in English.
Nationality: Saudi nationality is a plus.
Educational Background: Bachelor or Master degree.
Students’ Management: Proficiency in student management systems and administrative tools.
ICT: Office Suite proficiency. Knowledge of Learning Management System (LMS) and Student Information System (SIS) is a plus.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
