Overview:AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of structural systems for infrastructure projects, specifically focusing on roads and utilities. Site operations experience is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop structural systems for infrastructure projects, including roads and utilities.
- Prepare detailed structural engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Oversee and manage site operations, ensuring that all structural installations are carried out according to project plans and timelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, project managers, and contractors.
- Provide technical support and guidance during the construction phase of projects.
- Ensure all structural engineering activities comply with local regulations and international standards.
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges promptly.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Structural Engineering, with a focus on Infrastructure projects (roads and utilities).
- Proven experience in site operations and management.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in structural design software and tools (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000).
- Strong knowledge of local and international structural codes and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have Site Supervision experiance.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia and travel to project sites as required.
