  • Advanced knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and structural systems.
  • Expertise in seismic design and vibration control for sensitive structures like museums.
  • Strong understanding of regional building codes, international standards, and best practices for structural engineering.
  • Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools such as Revit for multidisciplinary coordination.
Recommended Soft Skills
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to develop creative and practical solutions for complex structural challenges.
  • Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills to work effectively with architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Communication: Clear and concise communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in structural calculations, design, and review to ensure accuracy and safety.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Cultural Awareness: Understanding the significance of the project’s location and adapting designs to respect local traditions and requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum Experience
  • At least 10 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably with experience in design and build projects or culturally significant structures.

This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the design and realization of an iconic museum in Mecca. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, creativity, and a commitment to excellence to ensure the structural integrity of a world-class cultural landmark.
