Overview
Undertakes a full day-to-day Stakeholder Management Unit role on more complex projects or a range of smaller but more challenging projects or running a significant component of a major project within the Land Development Business line.
Job Duties
Undertakes discrete tasks on a large/major project
Able to form effective relationships with clients and gain their confidence.
Undertakes duties as assigned by the Stakeholder Manager and Stakeholder Management Unit Leader
Responsible for developing Stakeholder relationships, fostering community relationships, and supporting senior management representing AtkinsRéalis.
Understands AtkinsRéalis competitive advantages to find innovative and strategic ways for the company to create new business opportunities through the ongoing interaction with the stakeholders
Establishes the stakeholder(s) management strategy and register, updates as required, and monitors implementation
Manages stakeholder outreach initiatives, dialogue, and other forms of engagement to understand key common interest
Prepares high-level program progress presentations/dashboards for the stakeholder management to ensure continuous engagement whenever needed
Represents the Client /AtkinsRéalis interests by providing full support and guidance on all matters related to permitting & approvals for projects
In-depth knowledge of planning processes required to coordinate with the Authorities and government entities for clarifications, justifications, and permitting by statutory authorities
Engages with the stakeholders to identify and analyze issues and communicate information to appropriate stakeholders
Manages, supports, and facilitates design managers & directors with the overall permitting process to mitigate risks & project delays.
Ensures managers deliver required documents on schedule and according to Authorities’ requirements, guidelines & standard specification
Supervises and manages all document completion processes to be submitted as required by the local authorities on behalf of AtkinsRéalis.
Proactively monitors projects program-wide so that any potential planning delays are identified early and a planned course of action is taken to mitigate delays
Notifies the client of any potential risks
Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Architecture Engineering.
Specific Skills Required
Safety Competencies:
i) Lead by example, attend training, ensure resources are available. Engage with clients on safety – set client safety objectives on projects.
ii) Ensure all projects have risk assessments and safety plans in place.
iii) Ensure all communications are published and understood. Start all meetings with a safety moment and visibly lead by example.
Time Management: Understanding and implementing the process of planning and controlling the amount of time spent on specific activities and/or projects in order to ensure the timely delivery of deliverables or input to the stakeholders.
Document Control and Management: Understanding and implementing the process of tracking, managing, and storing documents relevant to the project and shareholders
Reports and information management: Providing substantial information to the major stakeholders in a project to help them make informative decisions. The main goal is to supply important timely information to managers in an effective way
Project Controls Systems Tools: Gain an understanding of the main systems utilized by AtkinsRéalis
Experience
A minimum of 7+ years experience working within a Stakeholder Management team in a consultancy firm. Applicants would ideally have worked on large-scale civil & infrastructure projects, preferably within the KSA/Riyadh and.
Arabic & English Speaker.
