Job Description

Quality Control Management: Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures specific to marine projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.

Site Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of marine construction activities, including offshore and onshore works, to verify adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.

Testing and Evaluation: Oversee and coordinate the testing of marine materials and systems, ensuring that all tests are performed according to established protocols and that results meet quality criteria.

Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and manage any non-conformance issues related to marine construction, collaborating with project teams to implement corrective actions.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, test results, and quality control activities, ensuring all documentation is organized and accessible for audits and reviews.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, marine engineers, and contractors to communicate quality expectations and address any quality-related concerns specific to marine projects.

Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to junior QC engineers and site personnel on marine quality control practices and procedures.

Reporting: Prepare detailed quality control reports and presentations for management, summarizing findings, trends, and recommendations for improvements.
