We are seeking a Senior Counsel / Attorney for the Global Manufacturing Law Department within the Downstream Law organization.
The work will focus on both general corporate governance and commercial contracts practices. For the general corporate practice, as the world’s largest energy company, Saudi Aramco has many international joint ventures, affiliates, and subsidiaries. The Manufacturing & Power Practice Area provides legal support to many of these downstream entities, primarily from a shareholder and governance perspective.
Saudi Aramco's Law Organization is growing in response to a broad corporate initiative that involves the continued growth of its exploration, production, refining and marketing areas, along with expansion into petrochemicals, renewables, power and other sectors of the energy business. As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
• May serve as the corporate secretary for one or more entities, organizing and managing board meetings, and advising as to board authority and corporate governance matters.
• Advise as to shareholder issues and manage the interface between the entity, the parent, and other affiliates.
• Work closely with internal Saudi Aramco Downstream clients and support their substantial and complex contracting and purchasing functions by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, O&M agreements, service agreements, and other commercial contracts and related agreements.
• Advise as to internal policies, review and resolve claims, and provide training to company personnel on a variety of legal matters.
