SECTION I: JOB PURPOSE
This role is responsible for coordinating and providing operational and administrative support to Relationship Managers (RMs) in the assigned region. The responsibilities will include, among others, the following: Coordinate, follow up, and support the operational needs of the Regional Hubs in the Asia & Middle East Region. Be the focal point for the RMs and manage the portfolio for all operational follow-ups and processing of tasks required at the Headquarter. This may include following up and processing tasks with all relevant departments in the ITFC and IsDB Group, coordinating official delegations visiting ITFC HQ, managing incoming and outgoing correspondences and documents for the assigned portfolio/region. The role may also involve communicating with clients in the assigned region, liaising with internal departments to respond and resolve issues related to clients’ request, and reporting results/outcomes to the concerned RMs.
SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities Coordinating between and/or among relevant ITFC functions and IsDB Group on all operational and administrative matters related to the Regional Hubs in the assigned region.
Following up with internal departments in ITFC/IsDB on various issues to ensure timely solutions for the trade finance approvals, e.g., Legal for documentation, Treasury for syndication, Operations for disbursement and utilization, Compliance for KYC clearance, credit team for credit underwriting support, and Risk & CAD for approval and limit setting.
Contributing to efficient and effective management of new and existing operations in the assigned region by taking ownership of issues and tasks and following through to ensure a timely and successful resolution
Supporting the processing of new financing facilities and follow up on Credit Memorandums (CM) under approval process in iMal system, ensuring timely submission to all relevant committees and follow up to obtain final approval by the Management.
Reviewing the Legal documents for approved facilities against the approval in the system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Collecting and filing for safe custody of original documents/files for operations under the assigned region/portfolio ensuring all necessary documents are properly filed and maintained.
Coordinating with Corporate Communications on any required media and communication support in line with ITFC’s visibility and branding strategy for the trade finance business in the region.
Coordinating necessary arrangements for visiting delegations (e.g. Governors of Member Countries; heads of organizations and other officials) to the headquarters.
Supporting Relationship Managers in preparing documents that may be required by ITFC management in connection with delegation visits and CEO missions (i.e. Country briefs, talking points, delegation profiles, etc.).
Preparing periodic performance reports, as may be required by ITFC Management.
SECTION IV: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
Basic understanding of trade finance knowledge
Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously with stakeholders.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Proficiency in using Excel and PowerPoint
Attention to details
Language Skills
English is compulsory
Arabic is preferred
