The RoleWe are currently seeking a full-time, highly professional, career-oriented engineer to join our Information Storage & Retrieval (ISR) applications team.
ISR Application Engineers are responsible for supporting historian integration design and on active and incoming customer projects. This requires working closely with project teams to understand system requirements & use cases. Success in this role requires becoming the subject matter expert in ISR principles and collaborating with the SMEs of other product areas to align comprehensive data storage and retrieval for applications.
Candidates must possess knowledge of information systems with at least an introduction to ‘C’ programming. Basic knowledge of utility SCADA operations and data management is preferred.
Your Impact- Leader of Information Storage & Retrieval solutions for customer-specific needs.
- Organize and lead design workshops with customers.
- Prepare design documents detailing the proposed solution to meet those requirements.
- Go-to subject matter expert for operational ISR solutions, and integration with corporate historians; Providing support to business units.
- Provide implementation guidance and assistance to project teams.
- Execute historical data migrations between ISR platform solutions.
- Maintain standards for ISR solutions
What You'll Need
- Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years relevant work experience.
- Experience with SCADA and/or OT systems.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability and flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites.
- Ability to work independently, effectively manage time, and prioritize strategically.
- Experience with or knowledgeable about electric power generation, transmission, and distribution preferred.
- Expertise in any of the following historians: RDBMS SQL, OSISoft PI, eDNA, OSI CHRONUS preferred.

The salary range for this role is $94,700.00 - $118,400.00. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, charitable giveback day, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement benefits to eligible employees.
