Job Description
Role Summary:
Supports the Vendor Relationship Management Supervisor in managing the relationship with vendors and suppliers who provide goods and services to SAFE. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of vendor relationships, including contract management, performance monitoring, and issue resolution. Ensures that vendors meet the organization's quality, cost-effectiveness, and service standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support in developing and implementing a vendor relationship management strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives.
- Assist with identifying and selecting vendors who can provide goods and services that meet the organization's needs and standards for quality, cost-effectiveness, and service.
- Assist with negotiating and managing vendor contracts, including pricing, terms and conditions, and service level agreements.
- Monitor vendor performance against established metrics and escalate any issues or areas for improvement to the Vendor Relationship Management Specialist.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure vendor relationships align with SAFE goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, including regular communication and performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to vendor relationships, including data privacy and security.
- Contribute to developing and maintaining metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness and cost-efficiency of vendor relationships.
- Support managing the budget for vendor relationships, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration
- +5 years of experience in various rules.
