Key Accountabilities:
"Receives dispatch order from delivery driver. Identifies order number on computerized warehousing system and matches materials/parts against order number/s. Ensures all details match by checking all relevant details of order i.e. part numbers, quantity, description etc. Highlights discrepancies and issues a discrepancy report for supervisor’s action.
Advises Forklift Operator regarding required location and safe handling procedures for delivered items and oversees and assists in unloading delivery
Updates computer system with receipt of parts and materials. Ensures details are recorded accurately in computer system to enable efficient retrieval of required items as needed for correct cost processing by Finance and adjustment of relevant stock levels. Ensures accuracy of data by checking all details of delivered stock items.
Generates and issues a Receiving Note (RN) and binning list. Provides binning list to Storekeeper for action and RN to supervisor for approval and distribution to Finance for cost allocation.
Inspects physical condition of warehouse equipment and materials. Includes monitoring slow moving and deteriorating stock. Ensures all relevant warehoused materials are kept in good useable order.
Carries out activities in accordance with company safety procedures and manufacturers' recommendations, ensuring that all precautions are taken to isolate equipment prior to commencing work, following all safety instructions and notices, and wearing protective equipment at all times.

Minimum Experience:
3 years' relevant experience in a heavy industry computerized warehouse.
Skills:
Good verbal and written knowledge of English.
Good operating knowledge of PC’s.
