Job Purpose
Provide extensive HR support, managing recruitment, onboarding, policies, and records. Act as a liaison between management and employees, promoting best workforce management practices for an inclusive work environment.
Key Accountability Areas
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates for job vacancies.
- Coordinate interviews and assessments and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies during the recruitment process.
Employee Relations:
- Address employee inquiries and concerns and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees or between employees and management.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work culture that fosters employee engagement and satisfaction.
HR Policies and Compliance:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure HR practices are aligned with legal and ethical standards.
Performance Management:
- Support the performance appraisal process, including setting up performance goals and conducting reviews.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement plans.
- Monitor and track employee performance and recommend appropriate actions.
Employee Benefits and Compensation:
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation.
- Conduct salary research and analysis to ensure competitive compensation packages.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and assist in organizing training sessions and workshops.
- Manage the training calendar and track employee participation in learning programs.
- Support the implementation of employee development initiatives.
HR Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and electronic.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of employee information.
- Generate HR reports and analytics for management as needed.
Employee Offboarding:
- Coordinate the offboarding process for departing employees, including exit interviews and final documentation.
- Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and insights to improve employee retention.
