Minimum of 10 years of total experience Fire and Life Safety systems. 7+ years of extensive experience in running and delivering multi-disciplinary construction projects (residential, commercial, industrial, sports, marine etc.).
Have extensive experience in firefighting systems (Wet sprinklers, dry pipes, special hazard fire protection systems, dry chemical and gaseous fire suppression systems, foam systems, passive systems, firefighting pumps) in association with fire alarm systems and modern technologies and trends.
Heavily engaged in operational and maintenance aspects of the firefighting systems and understanding concepts of operations. Fully conversant with regulations, codes, and standards for large scale regional and urban developments and preferred knowledge of local codes. In-depth understanding of FM requirements as they relate to design, with proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, design related tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communicator (verbal and written) and a good command of English and ability to present confidently to small and large audiences. Proven ability to build professional relationships with colleagues and internal and external stakeholders, with interpersonal skills to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization. Fully computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office applications with good knowledge of Microsoft Project, Primavera; familiarity with CAFM, AutoCAD and BIM are desirable. Strong leadership ability, rational judgement and reasoning skills, with proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels. A team player, with team management capabilities to effectively manage and set up goals and objectives for personnel development.
