Featuring 180 guest rooms, suites, and villas spread across three million square feet of pristinebeaches on the southern end of Shura Island. Miraval The Red Sea will guide guests on a luxurious wellness journey for the spirit and soul.

Miraval The Red Sea will introduce the wellness brand’s signature mindfulness-based wellness practices to a new corner of the world, empowering guests with tools and inspiration to find balance and support their emotional and mental wellbeing. Located on Saudi Arabia’s Shura Island, the central hub of the highly anticipated new hospitality development, The Red Sea Project, the new Miraval resort will pave the way bringing transformative wellness experiences and the largest spa in the Red Sea destination. The high-end luxury wellness resort is slated to open as part of phase one of the Red Sea development.

For this eagerly awaited new opening in Saudi Arabia, we are looking for a Spa Director to share our Vision – to create the most imaginative, authentic and meaningful wellness experience. The Spa Director is responsible for ensuring exceptional and innovative experiences for our guests and colleagues, offering support in both front of house and back of house functions, for the overall success and growth of the spa operation.  

Responsibilities:

·The creation, development, implementation and evaluation of all Spa programs

·Continuously evaluate all program offerings to leverage resources, ensure fiscal responsibility and ensure the high standards of Miraval are being maintained. 

·Oversee the monthly Spa Schedule to ensure cost-effectiveness, easy implementation, balance of content, and that offerings are guest-driven. 

·Drive revenue by training Guest Relations and Spa colleagues to make appropriate referrals and by training program staff to make presentations appropriately compelling to promote individual consults. 

·Partner with Marketing, Sales and PR regarding scope of programs and how best to reach the Miraval audience. 

·Directly supervise the Spa Manager and all Spa colleagues.

• Minimum 3 years experience in a Spa Director Role
• Experience in managing a large Spa operations preferably in a resort setting
• Experience in creating and developing mindful and innovative spa services
• Hyper focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Up to date on current industry trends and best practices 
• Skilled in recruiting, training, and leading a diverse team of therapists, aestheticians, and wellness professionals
• Proven track record in driving business performance, managing budgets, and operational metrics
• Passion for mindfulness, holistic wellness, and luxury hospitality.
