Job Description

  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s/customer objectives and drive efficient software project delivery.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness in software development and deployment.
  • Manage and mentor operations staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and high performance.
  • Manage and monitor different levels of support and operation including multi-layers operation escalation within/outside the operation team.
  • Develop and control the operational budget to ensure it aligns with business strategies and financial goals.
  • Manage Operation and support teams in terms of allocation, utilization and time consumption including the reporting to company/customer management.
  • Managing and monitoring helpdesk and/or issue tracking systems, and generate the performance tracking reports.
  • Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the organization.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective resolution of operational issues.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of operational processes and implement improvements as needed.
  • Ensuring that the technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs.
  • Creating timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services.
  • Making executive decisions on behalf of the company's technological requirements.
  • Oversee project management frameworks and tools to ensure software projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.
  • Following up all technical assignments and ensure that all projects going on the right track.
  • ​Improving the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organization mission and specifically, supporting better management reporting, information flow, business process and organizational planning.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven 10 - 15 years in software development or a related tech field.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing large-scale and nationwide software projects.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex project requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead diverse teams.
  • High proficiency in budgeting, planning, and resource allocation.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design and development
  • Infrastructure knowledge is a plus.
  • ITIL Certified is mandatory.
