Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement microservices using Java and the Quarkus framework to support the bank's integration layer.
  
• Collaborate with the team to transition from monolithic architecture to a microservices-based architecture, ensuring scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
  
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices for microservices architecture and design patterns.
  
• Implement best practices for service discovery, load balancing, and inter-service communication using tools such as Kafka or similar event-driven messaging systems.
  
• Ensure high availability and fault tolerance of microservices through proper design, implementation, and testing.
  
• Utilize containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) for deploying and managing microservices.
  
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring of microservices.
  
• Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  
• Ensure compliance with data security standards and banking regulations in all microservices development activities.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to microservices, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 5+ years of experience as a Java Developer with a focus on microservices architecture.
  
• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with the Quarkus framework for building microservices.
  
• Understanding SOLID principles and clean code best practices
  
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture principles, including service decomposition, loose coupling, and domain-driven design (DDD).
  
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems like Apache Kafka.
  
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes) for deploying and managing microservices.
  

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
