Summary
The Social Media Manager will lead the development and execution of social media strategies for @NEOM across 8 channels, ensuring alignment with NEOM's broader marketing and communications objectives. This role involves close collaboration with teams across Digital, Media, Brand, Content, Campaigns, and Experiential Marketing, as well as NEOM's Sectors and Regions. Position description and responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of Social to implement NEOM’s social media strategy across eight channels.
- Develop, plan, and execute innovative social media campaigns aimed at enhancing brand affinity and increasing follower engagement.
- Resposible for the development and delviery of accurate quaretly content roadmaps and monthyl content calendar.
- Lead the creation and execution of quarterly hub social media series to expand NEOM’s community and boost organic engagement across all channels.
- Act as the primary POC with the appointed social media agency, managing day-to-day communications and deliverables.
- Work closely with regions, sectors, and other internal stakeholders to support and amplify their activities on social media.
- Partner with the marketing campaigns team to develop channel-specific social content that complements broader marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Partnerships Marketing teams to create joint social media campaigns with NEOM’s commercial partners.
- Repurpose content for different social media platforms, leveraging a deep understanding of platform-specific content consumption behaviors.
- Generate ideas for quick wins and agile, reactive content creation based on cultural moments and global/regional trends.
- Develop and manage relationships with third-party vendors, including agencies, production houses, and adaptation partners.
- Oversee NEOM’s social media reputation through top-tier community management, moderation, social listening, and social care.
- Develop and execute NEOM’s domestic social influencer/creator strategy and manage influencer outreach programs.
- Lead the employee advocacy program, ensuring successful platform adoption NEOM-wide.
- Enhance operational and content development efficiency by leveraging the latest GenAI technology.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of concentrated experience with social media platforms and deep understanding of digital marketing; proven ability to significantly drive engagement and conversion.
- Deep understanding of the Saudi social media landscape, culture, and trends but also experience with working on global social media campaigns for international markets.
- Strong understanding of content development cycle from brief to launch.
- Strong understanding of social media measurement and insights as well as overall digital analytics
- Proven experience working on influencer marketing campaigns
- Social media experience within tourism boards, airlines, modern government organizations or hospitality industry is preferred
- A proven track record in agency management and internal stakeholder engagement.

- Profiency in Sprinkr and other social media management platforms
