Site Engineer

 Supervise construction workers o Understand project timelines and priorities from Project Engineer and Project Manager o Prepare drawings from technical designs of the project site layout o Manage sub-contractor’s allocation to construction jobs o Instruct construction workers and foremen for construction in conformance of the drawings prepared o Supervise their work and ensure timeliness, quality and safety of construction o Approve overtime and other requests from foremen o Regular quality survey of the site  Material management o Monitor material quality for every delivery and raise concerns to Project Engineer in case of any discrepancy o Monitor and manage material quantities as per construction plan. Raise requests for materials on SAP JD – Site Engineer Dar Wa Emaar Real Estate Investment and Development Co. 2 ERP system o Coordinate with procurement team for material delivery o Arrange logistics at site as water, electricity, power, cranes, etc. o Provide inputs to Project Manager regarding cost and materials of the project for budget reviews  Stakeholder management o Coordinate between contractors and consultants for quality assurance o Request Contracts team for contract preparation for sub-contractors and coordinate with them for review o Review the bills received from contractors and forward to Accounts team o Escalate material or construction progress related issues to Project Engineer  Reporting o Support Project Engineer to prepare status report and ad hoc technical reports  Team Management o Provide clear roles and responsibilities to foremen o Responsible to address all the HR related concerns of foremen o Monitor and manage health & safety compliance and incidents
