Service Manager - Cluster Saudi Arabia You as a Service Manager will be part of Hitachi Energy High Voltage business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The incumbent will lead the Service activities for three Business Units High Voltage, Grid Integration and Transformers and will be responsible to stabilize and grow the Service Business in Saudi Arabia from an organizational, market, as well as financial perspective and ensuring an excellent level of customer satisfaction by delivering on-time high-quality services and systems to the growing market, utilizing the different as internal as well as external, channels to reach a full coverage of the developing market. Being part of the regional management team of the Business Unit 'High Voltage Products', contributing to the overall development and continuous improvements of people capabilities and the local business, as well as to the Global Service strategy.
Your responsibilities
Ensuring that implementation of HSE guidelines at the workplace and onsite is followed to ensure own safety as well as other staff and compliance with procedures for hazard identification and risk control. Implementing the global strategy for the Service Cluster in Saudi Arabia and ensuring business development in the local market and providing input to Global Product Group and Hub Business Unit strategy. Developing and driving growth initiatives to meet growth targets in line with the Cluster Service strategy implementation planning, building and supporting business cases for investment opportunities and establishing financial targets for the operating unit and report progress on strategy implementation across the unit. Leading and developing the Service Cluster in a swift but controlled manner to utilize the opportunities the market offers. Setting and monitoring performance targets in line with global Business Unit targets and ensures achievement through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed. Achieving budgeted targets for revenues, OpEBITA, inventory, OCF and other operational KPIs. Closely evaluates together with the Service Sales the market opportunities and decides on appropriate activities and further developments in line with the Global Service strategy as well as the Hub Business Unit strategy and that way ensuring profitable business growth in the local market. Overseas the execution of related projects and service activities. Monitoring quality metrics, identifies opportunities for improvement in local execution and oversees improvement activities and reviewing monthly and annual targets for quality, environmental, productivity and on-time delivery with minimum execution and production costs and takes necessary corrective actions to close any gaps. Ensure most effective utilization of resources including staff, equipment and facilities. Ensuring (together with HR support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies and identifying and forecasting manpower requirements for your business. Your background
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or science, or Business Administration with an extensive technical background Minimum 10 - 15 years of operational work experience, e.g. service engineering, project management experience and managing complex or large project business unit in the relevant industry. Minimum of 3 years Sales experience. Previous work experience in Middle East or Saudi Arabia required. Leadership and change management experience. Ability to energize and develop the team Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
