Job Description

  • Serves as Front Line Customer Relation Representatives to Saudia Catering.
  • Ensures that enough Dry Ice is supplies with the Food items to maintain required temperature.
  • Ensures proper reporting of Daily Activity Report of performance in the shift and ensures proper office records and files.
  • Should have comprehensive knowledge of Radio Communication Procedures.
  • Should have knowledge of Driving, operating system of all kinds of Catering Vehicles.
  • Checks food and other provisioning of the flight and ensures that the supplies are exactly according to specifications.
  • Ensures that he is present on aircraft to Supervise loading and offloading.
  • Should be able to work in hazardous environment of noise, smoke, and weather conditions.
  • Keeps abreast of all Security and Safety Procedures and ensures that they are followed strictly during handling flights.
  • Ensures that safety regulations are very strictly followed while loading and offloading of the aircraft.
  • Takes extra precautions while handling the VIP flights.
  • Properly briefs the operating crew regarding meals and other provisioning catered by Saudia Catering.
  • Fills in meals distribution form and handover to Operating crew for their convenience.
  • Coordinates with Dispatch, Assembly, Beverage, Tray Setting and equipment packing units as and when required.
  • Should be able to work under pressure to ensure setting up-catering meals at last moment of departure.
  • Checks on arrival any deviation in equipment standard and brand (logo) and prepares discrepancy report for concerned sections.
  • Responsible to ensure that the meals, beverages, and bulk food items are according to specifications advised by the OBSP Royal and VIP or Private customer.
  • Prepares the RVIP flights according to galley packing diagrams and instructions issued from OBSP Royal and VIP from time to time.
  • Coordinates very closely with Production Department for the delivery of VIP meal in time.
  • Any deviation is brought to the notice of Supervisor RVIP immediately.
  • Alerts the Duty Manager with regard to any problem or delay from other Sections.
  • Properly offloads the RVIP flights and follows it through in the dishwashing area to ensure that equipment is properly handled. Prepares physical inventory after washing and informs supervisor of deviations.
  • Ensures loading/collection of DEK on aircraft according to procedures.
  • Ensures that as soon as the equipment is received from Dishwashing, it is present again so as to keep all aircraft ready at all times.
  • Ensures that all equipment ready for loading is properly labelled according to packing diagram.
  • Keeps the service folder of each type of VIP aircraft up to date.
  • Ensures strict security measures within the Section, during transport loading and while loading RVIP aircraft.
  • Ensures that all items required to be catered on RVIP flights are available in the stock, checks expiry date of fresh Laban, milk and other items for its validity.
  • Specifically responsible for equipment, stock control and balancing.
  • Ensures 'FOLLOW ME' escort always accompanies the vehicle when flights are loaded at Air Force Base.
  • Keeps Snr. Supervisor/Supervisor RVIP informed in respect of the flights.
  • Ensure equipment shortage list of each flight and informs Snr. Supervisor/Supervisor RVIP.
  • Returns the unserviceable equipment to Saudia OBSP Royal & VIP and gets the replacement.
  • Keeps close coordination with OBSP Royal and VIP for smooth functioning of RVIP flights.
  • Driving of catering vehicles for the loading/offloading of aircraft assigned from time to time.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Perform other duties related to the job and/or the operation of the company, in accordance with the regulations of the Saudi Labor of Law. Adherence to Cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Dealing with data and information according to their level of classification.
  • Avoid violating the rights of any person or company protected by copyrights, patents, or any other intellectual property, or similar laws or regulations.
  • Compliance with Cybersecurity requirements related to the protection of user devices, Internet, software, systems, and Email requirements.
  • Adhere to the acceptable use policy and Using SACC information and technical assets only for business purposes.
  • Obtaining the required permit from the security department or the owner of the authority in SACC before hosting visitors in the company's specific sensitive sites.
  • Reporting Cybersecurity incidents.
