Job Description
Job Summary:We are seeking a seasoned Senior webMethods Administrator with extensive hands-on experience managing and optimizing webMethods Integration Platform components. This role requires expertise in implementing, configuring, administering, and securing the full spectrum of webMethods tools while leveraging automation, modern deployment methodologies, and monitoring technologies to ensure seamless integration and robust system performance.
Key Responsibilities: - System Administration:
- Install, configure, and maintain webMethods components such as Integration Server, API Gateway, Universal Messaging (UM), API Portal, Adapters, Terracotta, BigMemory, Command Central, Microservice Runtime (MSR), Microgateway, and MWS.
- Deploy and manage high-availability environments using clustering, load balancing, and failover techniques.
- Microservices and API Management:
- Administer and optimize webMethods Microservice Runtime (MSR) and Microgateway in production environments.
- Deploy and manage containerized webMethods services using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Automation and CI/CD:
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git) for webMethods deployments.
- Use scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl to automate administrative tasks and system configurations.
- Security Implementation:
- Implement and maintain security models for webMethods, including integration with OAuth, LDAP, SAML, and other identity providers.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Monitor system health and performance using tools like the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Troubleshoot issues related to webMethods infrastructure and integration solutions.
- Collaboration and Documentation:
- Work closely with development and operations teams to meet integration requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
Required Qualifications: - At least 5 years of hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and administration of the following webMethods components:
- Integration Server, API Gateway, Universal Messaging, API Portal, Adapters, Terracotta, BigMemory, Command Central, Microservice Runtime (MSR), Microgateway, and MWS.
- Proven experience implementing high-availability environments with clustering, load balancing, and failover.
- Recent hands-on experience with webMethods Microservice Runtime (MSR) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Expertise in setting up CI/CD pipelines and using scripting languages to automate processes.
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments and using tools like ELK Stack for monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of API management and security models, including OAuth, LDAP, and SAML.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience deploying and managing webMethods API Microgateway or similar API management solutions.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and cloud-native technologies.
