Job Description
Job Purpose:We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Test Engineer with a strong background in the banking sector, particularly in loans and middleware development. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of banking applications.
Key Responsibilities:1. Requirement Analysis & Test Planning: - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Identify and document testable requirements for comprehensive coverage.
- Develop detailed test plans and strategies, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
2. Test Case Development & Execution: - Design and execute manual and automated test cases based on banking use cases.
- Prepare test data that mimics real-world banking scenarios.
- Perform tests for:
- Core banking systems (T24, IST Switch)
- Mobile banking platforms (Kony Platform)
- Loans and other financial products
- Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure system stability after updates.
3. Performance & Security Testing: - Conduct load and stress testing to evaluate system resilience under peak conditions.
- Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry security standards.
4. User Acceptance Testing (UAT): - Assist in UAT planning and execution with business users.
- Gather feedback and ensure identified issues are resolved before deployment.
5. Compliance & Continuous Improvement: - Ensure banking applications comply with regulatory standards.
- Continuously analyze and enhance testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated on the latest QA trends, tools, and best practices.
