GENERAL FUNCTION:
Possess expertise in systems integration engineering for system definition, development, integration, verification methods, sustainment, risk management, testing and evaluation, human systems integration, crew stations engineering, operational safety, interoperability, and airworthiness certification for diverse hardware and software systems, including ground-based systems. Support the F-15 Division’s Airworthiness Certification Working Group by developing and maintaining a comprehensive Modification Airworthiness Criteria Certification compliance package and conducting airworthiness risk assessments. Apply engineering principles and procedures to USAF systems and subsystems throughout their lifecycle, supporting procurement activities and post-award project management. Understand and leverage DoD and USAF engineering principles to enhance the performance and sustainability of current and future USAF and joint service weapon systems. Provide system integration guidance for the F-15 Division, reviewing technical proposals for design feasibility and system capability, while conducting assessments of performance effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, life-cycle costs, maintainability, and associated risks. Develop a Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) process to ensure user weapon system requirements are defined and achieved, collaborating closely with the F-15 Division. Assist in converting user needs into weapon system requirements for design, development, testing, and deployment. Conduct technical analyses of operational requirements and assist in developing system concepts and trade-off assessments for proposed designs or modifications. Participate in project team meetings, working groups, and technical reviews as needed. Support the development of Integrated Master Plans (IMP), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and detailed engineering cost estimates. Maintain hazard tracking logs to ensure all hazards are addressed until resolution, covering all related modifications. Keep an updated list of mishap risk assessments and submit annual risk acceptance packages for high or serious risk designations. Apply system safety principles to acquisition management activities in support of current and future F-15 Division programs. Engage in Safety working group meetings to identify safety non-compliances and contribute to system safety plans, risk assessments, and protocols. Assist in requests for deviations, waivers, and Configuration Control Board meetings to maintain safety standards for aircraft systems and subsystems. Provide Foreign Military Sales (FMS) expertise for F-15 Division programs across various DoD acquisition phases, ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines. Help with Pre-LOA and LOA documentation, including Statement of Objectives (SOO) and Statement of Work (SOW) development and proposal reviews as assigned by the Government. Review acquisition documents, export licenses, and other submissions from prime weapon system manufacturers for Government review, facilitating responses and coordination. Carry out other duties and responsibilities, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:



Minimum of ten (10) years of experience and a Master’s degree in engineering or a minimum of twenty (20) years of experience and an ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering. Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level. Mustbe a US Citizen. Must have or be able to obtain a KSA Iqama. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Musthave a working knowledge of MIL-STD-882E. Mustbe system safety trained by successful completion of one of the following training class(es) or their equivalents: Web-Based Interactive Safety Environment Learning Management System, on-line through Naval Ordnance Safety and Security Activity; Systems Safety Management Course (SSM-102), offered on-site by Bastion Technologies; System Safety Engineering, offered in-residence or on-site, A-P-T Research, Inc., and/or; Practical System Safety, offered in-residence by the Southern California Safety Institute. Prefer bilingual in Arabic language.
