Senior Support Engineer - Oracle DBA, and Customs deployment
Job Description
Manage Oracle Database Administration tasks, including installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning. Support the deployment and management of Customs systems, ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements. Work closely with business support teams to resolve issues and enhance system performance. Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex technical problems, providing root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions. Coordinate and manage deployments of new systems and updates, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and system configurations. Mentor and train junior support engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of various systems. Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry best practices related to Routing & Switching, Oracle DBA, and Customs systems.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in technical support roles, with a focus on Oracle DBA and Customs deployment. Proven experience in managing complex technical environments and delivering exceptional support.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, and security management.
• Experience with Customs systems deployment and support, understanding regulatory requirements and business processes.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Shell scripting).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
• Oracle Database Administration (Oracle DBA).
• Experience with Customs systems and deployment processes.
• Network security protocols and best practices.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, Oracle DBA, or similar.
