SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our design development project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, assessing, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of structural designs, reports, drawings, and specifications. The role requires strong coordination skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and the ability to oversee quality control and project implementation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and assess structural designs, structural reports, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
• Implement detailed project plans, monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and develop solutions to ensure timely and successful project completion.
• Ensure all structural work adheres to relevant codes, standards, and project design criteria, including Saudi Building Codes and international standards such as ACI, AISC, and Eurocodes.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to uphold high standards for produced shop drawings, calculations, and reports. Review submissions for structural integrity, practicality, and compliance with project requirements.
• Support the procurement team in preparing civil-related packages by providing technical input, ensuring specifications and structural requirements are clear and met.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, architectural, and MEP engineers, to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs. Ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication among team members.
• Provide on-site structural support by addressing any issues that arise and developing effective solutions to site inquiries. Conduct site visits to ensure construction aligns with the approved designs and specifications.
• Follow up on structural-related submissions, including shop drawings, material submissions, and reports, ensuring all are submitted, reviewed, and approved in a timely manner.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Masters Degree is a plus.
• Candidates MUST be immediately available
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, particularly in design development projects.
• Professional registration as a Structural Engineer (e.g., PE, SE, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) and design tools.
• Proven experience in managing structural design projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent understanding of Saudi Building Codes and relevant international standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on practical, efficient, and safe engineering solutions.
• Effective communication and team coordination skills.
