Senior Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, design, and construction of steel structural projects.
• Monitor and inspect structural work to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Provide guidance on structural engineering principles and solutions for complex challenges.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Conduct quality checks to guarantee structural integrity and durability of steel structures.
• Manage project budgets, expenses, and timelines effectively.
• Advise on appropriate steel materials and specifications for different structural elements.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for steel structural projects.
• Ensure adherence to local and international regulations and codes for steel construction.
• Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical insights.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 12 years in structural engineering, specifically in steel structural projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software like ETABS or StaadPro.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve structural issues efficiently.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to steel structures.
