JASARA PMC is looking for a talented Senior Specialist in Theming & Facades to enhance our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in developing and executing thematic design concepts while ensuring that all facades contribute to the overall aesthetics and immersive experiences across our projects. You will be responsible for translating creative visions into practical applications, ensuring conformity to project specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the design, development, and implementation of themed facades for front of house theme park areas, ensuring seamless navigation and immersive guest experiences.
As a client-side technical specialist, you will manage design packages, collaborating with consultants and contractors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the theming and facade design concepts for all themed areas, facilities, retail spaces, dining venues, and guest service areas, ensuring alignment with the overall creative vision.
- Review and approve design packages, technical drawings, and materials submitted by consultants and contractors.
- Act as the client-side point of contact for theming and facade design for Lead Design consultants, creative designers, and contractors.
- Ensure design packages align with project schedules, budgets, quality, and local standards.
- Collaborate with Lead Design consultants, creative designers, landscape designers, ride engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of theming and facade elements within the overall theme park design.
- Ensure theming and facade elements align with operational requirements, guest flow, and accessibility standards.
- Integrate sustainable design principles and innovative technologies where applicable.
- Identify potential design and installation issues and work proactively with contractors to resolve them.
- Perform quality checks on materials, finishes, and installations to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Report to the design manager and project leadership on progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Good knowledge of applicable building codes, safety standards, and accessibility requirements.
