Description

We are looking for a Senior Specialist in Cloud and System Administration to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's IT infrastructure. This role will also involve guiding a team of cloud and system administration specialists.

Responsibilities:

1. Developing and implementing IT infrastructure strategies and plans to support the organization's goals and objectives.

2. Leading and managing teams of administrators to ensure the efficient operation of the organization's IT systems.

3. Designing and implementing scalable cloud-based solutions that meet the organization's evolving needs.

4. Ensuring the security, availability, and reliability of the organization's IT infrastructure.

5. Developing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

6. Evaluating and implementing new technologies and systems to improve the organization's IT infrastructure.

7. Collaborating with other departments to ensure that IT infrastructure supports the organization's business processes.

Skills

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of related work experience with proven expertise in cloud platforms such as STC Cloud, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Microsoft Azure.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of cloud computing, networking, and system administration principles.
  • Solution Design: Ability to design and implement effective solutions that align with organizational needs.
  • Team Management: Experience in managing teams of administrators effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Security Knowledge: Thorough understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.

Skills:

  1. Cloud Computing Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., STC Cloud, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Microsoft Azure) and cloud architecture.
  2. System Administration: Strong skills in managing and maintaining servers, networks, and IT infrastructure.
  3. Network Management: Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security practices.
  4. Security Best Practices: Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, compliance requirements, and disaster recovery planning.
  5. Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of IT professionals.
  6. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve complex technical issues.
