Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented senior TMC service engineer to join our dynamic team. As a senior service engineer for TMC, you will play a crucial role in providing technical solutions and support to our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and implement turbo machinery applications, ensuring the successful integration and operation of our systems.


Responsibilities:


- Oversee the installation, setup, and commissioning of turbomachinery systems at client sites, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and functionality of equipment.- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of turbomachinery systems to ensure optimal performance. - Diagnose and resolve complex issues and coordinate repairs as needed.- Coordinate and schedule service visits, maintenance activities, and repairs with clients, technicians, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of service requests.- Provide technical support and guidance to clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and service-related issues. Offer recommendations for equipment upgrades, performance enhancements, and maintenance strategies.- Analyze performance data, including vibration analysis, temperature profiles, and operating parameters, to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvement. Implement corrective actions to enhance system performance.- Provide training and guidance to junior service engineers and technicians, sharing technical knowledge, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques to develop their skills and capabilities.- Maintain accurate service records, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and service documentation. Prepare service reports, performance summaries, and recommendations for clients and internal teams.


- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience is required.- Typically, a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is required. Having specialized courses in turbomachinery, maintenance, or relevant disciplines can be advantageous.- Several years of experience in servicing and maintaining turbomachinery systems is preferred. Experience with AVEVA Products & Triconex is a plus. Familiarity with a variety of turbomachinery equipment and configurations is beneficial.- Possess a strong knowledge of turbomachinery systems, including turbines, compressors, and pumps. Proficiency in troubleshooting, maintenance procedures, and equipment diagnostics is essential. Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies used in service and repair activities is necessary.- Ability to diagnose complex technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and develop effective solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for delivering efficient service.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to effectively interact with clients, technicians, and other stakeholders. The ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely is important.- Knowledge of safety protocols, industry regulations, and compliance requirements associated with turbomachinery service and maintenance. Ensuring adherence to safety standards and guidelines during service activities is essential.- The ability to work in dynamic environments, adapt to changing priorities, and handle multiple service projects simultaneously is required. Willingness to travel to client sites as necessary.
