Senior Sales Manager, Middle East

Our data helps our customers to increase efficiency and reduce emissions, delivering tools to governments and other stakeholders to understand impacts of climate change on extreme weather and ocean health. The Role



As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of expanding our global footprint, driving sales of our cutting-edge Spotter Buoy platform. You’ll work with a diverse portfolio of clients, leveraging your expertise to identify opportunities, build relationships, and close deals that drive both business value and environmental impact.

Impact You’ll Own:



Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the Middle East market. Build and maintain relationships with high-level decision-makers, influencers, and partners. Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure. Understand client needs deeply and position the Spotter’s unique value proposition effectively. Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, engineering) to align solutions with market demand and customer requirements. Provide market insights and feedback to inform product and go-to-market strategies. Work with and manage channel sales partners to develop business in new regions. Represent Sofar at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities in the region.

About You



You’re an experienced sales leader with a proven track record of success in selling high-tech hardware or solutions. You’re also an entrepreneur at heart, capable of jumpstarting the geographical go-to-market strategy from the ground up. You thrive on building relationships, navigating complex sales cycles, and closing impactful deals. Most importantly, you share our passion for leveraging technology to better understand and protect our oceans.
5+ years of experience in hardware or solution sales, preferably in maritime, environmental tech, or related industries. Strong understanding of the Middle East market and its unique challenges and opportunities. Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a sales pipeline, with a history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Fluent in English Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend events.
