We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sustainability professional to fulfil the role of Senior Project Manager - Sustainability, to lead sustainability and environmental initiatives for a major programme in Riyadh. The individual in this position will be located in Riyadh, KSA. 

Accountabilities

• Work with clients to develop, deliver and assure Sustainability and Net Zero strategies across projects and programmes and throughout the asset lifecycle
• Support in developing and securing business opportunities with existing and new clients
• Develop internal relationships with key stakeholders, liaising with Client side Project Directors and Commission Leads
• Embedding Sustainability principles into all aspects of project delivery

Responsibilities

• Deliver work in line with client requirements and agreed proposal deliverables
• Support in effective and efficient project delivery to achieve performance targets and develop technical capabilities
• Supporting the implementation and monitoring of client Corporate Responsibility and Net Zero strategies.
• Working within a live construction environment with ability to adapt to constant change (PMC) 

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject
• Professionally qualified member of a recognised institution
• Sustainability certification accreditation desirable

Knowledge / Experience

• Experience of delivering Sustainability consultancy support for clients is essential, including the areas of energy and carbon (Net Zero Emissions), water, waste, circular economy, and biodiversity
• Experience of working in real estate and infrastructure (masterplan)
• Detailed knowledge of environmental legislation and sustainability issues in region
• Experience and understanding of net zero roadmaps and strategies, including carbon assessment, monitoring and reporting
• Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams on major projects
• Experience of working throughout the lifecycle of major projects and programmes
• A detailed understanding of sustainability accreditation methods such as LEED, Estidama and WELL would be an advantage
• Awareness of global, national and regional issues, including the Climate and Biodiversity Emergency and Net Zero Emissions, experience discussing such issues with clients and stakeholders would be beneficial
• Attention to detail in service delivery, communications and ways of working with others
• Excellent communication including writing and presentation skills
