The Senior Project Manager is a key postholder that plays an important role in the Marina team integration with module/packages. This is a lead package(s) role to assist a seamless package delivery with the Package Delivery Director he/she is assigned to collaborate with
Key Responsibilities
Directly reporting to the Head of Marina Construction, the Senior Project Manager:
With the Construction Management team, Prepare the Construction Management Plan for the major elements of THE LINE Marina works with early engagement in project planning, constructability, modern methods of working
Leads the overall CPMT Construction operations under the Head of Marina Construction including recruiting, hiring and managing Construction Managers
In cooperation with the Quality and HSW teams, enforces related construction phase standards, procedures, and staffing for compliance
Directs the mobilization of multiple contracted parties following THE LINE procedures
Senior construction oversight and interface with the senior management of the contracted parties from kick-off through commissioning and handover
Primary interface for the construction teams with THE LINE Site Logistics to provide the strategy and direction for short-term logistical requirements for construction delivery.
Provides weekly updates to Project Controls and Risk leads for THE LINE Marina reporting on all CPMT contracts in the construction phase
Leads the coordination and cooperation activities between THE LINE Projects and The Spine construction management teams
Champion health, safety, welfare of delivery and contractor organisations.
Collaborate with others with the Engineering Directorate to achieve delivery schedule requirements
Oversee reporting on cost vs. contract value of contractors’ services
Oversee coordination of contractors schedules with delivery and design & Engineering schedules
Background, skills & qualifications
Experience
Minimum 20 years of experience in the construction industry with increasing responsibility in engineering and construction leadership with recent experience in a Marine environment
Engineering and/or leadership experience in KSA or wider Middle East
Knowledge of construction management software, such as Primavera P6 or Oracle Primavera P6 Professional
Experience with construction project scheduling and budgeting
Experience with managing subcontractors and suppliers
Experience with construction safety and quality control
Experience with contract administration
Experience with leading and motivating teams
Sustainable construction practices
Lean construction principles
Building information modeling (BIM)
Dispute resolution
Skills
Deep understanding of the construction process, including:
Construction materials and methods
Building codes and regulations
Project management principles
Safety procedures
Financial management
Contract Law
Communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and workers

Bachelors and/or Masters degree in engineering from a certified educational program
