Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing a team of Design Consultants for a design package within THE LINE project and ensure their Contract Scope of Work is executed and delivered in accordance with the project requirements.
- Design management reporting, schedule and deliverables management and key account management of the Design Consultants.
- Package resourcing, and liaison with other ED functions.
- Day to day running and ensuring delivery on time, to budget and to quality of the package.
- To lead the measurement process, working closely with the respective team members from the Design Management teams to ensure the Design Consultant completes their contractual obligations with respect to: Design Deliverables, Safety in Design, Design to Cost, Requirements Management, Sustainability and Research and Innovation.
- Provide coordination of cross-package issues such as procurement and management of ICE / ISA, management of common resource allocation.
- Working with THE LINE and NEOM procurement teams to drive the timely procurement of design packages to meet the schedule.
- Supports procurement of identified design packages.
- Coordination – ensuring digital requirements are aligned and coordinated with the P6 schedule to stay on track with programme activities.
- Understanding of upstream and downstream dependencies and impacts of decisions being made in the program.
- Help protect the team from interruptions, and they help the team remove impediments that slow them down.
- Accountable for removing blockers, distractions and risks/issues that may prevent the team to completing their goals for the sprint/project.
- Proactive communication of external risks, blockers or constraints that are or could impact the project to the rest of the Program Management team and to the Program’s stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Consultant, Client and relevant stakeholders to ensure that the direction of the deliverables is always in line with the requirements.
- Have a good understanding of technologies being deployed to ask the key questions and be involved in decision making.
- Ensure proper stakeholders should be in attendance for feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 20 years Project Management Experience.
- Proven track record of managing the successful delivery of High-Rise and Complex Projects and Programmes in the public or private sector.
- Membership of the APM/PMI, Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) status is desirable. Service delivery management standards such as ITIL would also be an advantage.
- Engineering related Degree with background experience in a technical discipline would be seen as an advantage.
- A Recognized P3M qualification (Prince2, APM PMQ, MoR, MSP), Waterfall and Agile experience is preferable.
- Knowledge and experience of delivery management such as governance, reporting, planning, risks/issues, benefit management, finance and change management.
- Experience of engineering development stages and associated governance.
- Good knowledge of financial controls and ability to interpret and report financial data and analysis.
